Ystad town in Skåne popular at ITB Berlin
A total of 10,923 companies from 184 countries presented their tourism attractions on a display area measuring some 160,000 square metres. In spite of this huge competition the Skåne town Ystad was given a full-page article in the Berliner Morgenpost the day after opening. This small picturesque town by the south coast has become a major tourist 
attraction because of the fictive inspector Wallander. The representatives from the official tourist board Position Skåne, Semmy Rülf and Lena Andersson are of course happy with the success.The Nordic countries shared the same both for a powerful impact.
The travel exhibitions are the fastest way to travel around the world. It is also a fascinating melting pot of different cultures blending together for a few days. Sweden will host a travel exhibition in the end of March in Gothenburg.
