Weekend Flights to Gotland and Faro Island
Weekend Travel between Ängelholm, Sweden and the island of GotlandWeekend flight connections will be available between Ängelholm, Sweden and Visby, Gotland beginning August 15, 2008. The route will be covered by Gotlandsflyg, with departures on Fridays and Sundays. Transport will be on the Fokker 50, which seats 50 passengers.
This new routing will provide a handy link for the people of Gotland who wish to spend some time in the Öresund region. It also allows the residents of northwest Skåne to experience Gotland outside the tourist season. Gotlandsflyg, based on Gotland, and its sister company Kullaflyg, based in Ängelholm, are under the same ownership. Today this company provides flights to eight different destinations, among them Oslo, Norway, Helsinki, Finland, and Hamburg, Germany.
