Tivoli Celebrates Halloween for the First Time
Tivoli now introduces a third season in addition to the summer season and Christmas at Tivoli. The theme of the new season during the school autumn holiday will be Halloween. From October 13th – 22nd, Tivoli will turn into an enchanted autumn universe of witches, turnip lanterns, pumpkin men, chestnuts and autumn crops.
This autumn the world famous Tivoli in the heart of Copenhagen will open its gates to introduce a whole new season. In addition to the summer season and Christmas season at Tivoli, the theme of the new, third season during the school autumn holiday will be Halloween. From October 13th – 22nd, Tivoli will turn into an enchanted autumn universe of witches, turnip lanterns, pumpkin men, chestnuts and autumn crops.
– For the past 11 years we have endeavoured to incorporate Christmas at Tivoli as a natural part of the annual cycle of Tivoli. Christmas at Tivoli has now gained such popularity in terms of the number of visitors that we feel ready to add another season to our repertoire, says Lars Liebst, managing director of Tivoli.
The primary target audience for Halloween at Tivoli are families with children, but of course everyone is welcome. All Tivoli’s activities, including restaurants and rides, will be open to visitors, and parts of the gardens will present Halloween scenographies. Admission is the same as during summer and Christmas, including free entrance with a seasonal pass.
