From behind the terracotta sculptures look as the originals, terracotta soldiers from Xi’an in China.
But from the front are they women and we meet them in natural size. There are total of 57 sculptures each with a personality and its specific message.
“I have sculpted them to express my love for peace,” said the artist Marian Heyerdahl. The exhibition will be open until September 13th and takes place in Edsviks Art Gallery located in Sollentuna, approx 15 minutes from Stockholm city center.
