Group Activity With Swedish Drinks
Experience the history, the culture and the technology behind drinks such as vodka, wine and Swedish punsch. The Historical Museum of Wines and Spirits in Stockholm is the only museum of its kind in Sweden. Start with a walking-tour around the museum, where you will taste four different Swedish drinks. Suggested program: While the group gathers, we taste Swedish – steaming hot if it is cold outside or refreshingly cool during the warmer season. During our stroll through the museum, we visit the wine merchant with Swedish author August Strindberg as a customer.
We taste a glass of fruit wine while the guide tells the story of Swedish wine traditions. The tour continues through the schnapps department with home-distilling, fusil oils, potato distilleries and the aquavit king L O Smith before we taste the spiced schnapps. We finish the tour with a glass of Swedish punch.
