Swedish Music Hall of Fame
ABBA, Roxette, The Latin Kings and Cornelis Vreeswijk are among the first Swedish music legends to be honoured in the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame exhibition will open in the Swedish Music Hall of Fame on Djurgården in Stockholm on March 20.
The Swedish Music Hall of Fame has been created on Djurgården in Stockholm to make Swedish music history available to everyone. It is organised and funded by the Svenska Musikskattens Hus foundation. Induction into the Hall of Fame is a permanent honour, which will be bestowed upon new inductees each year. The Hall of Fame exhibition will open on March 20. The 2014 inductees will be honoured throughout the year with tribute concerts and lectures. More information about these will be released later this spring.
The ambition is to build bridges between genres and generations and give Swedish music the place it deserves.
