New Trains Between Copenhagen – Göteborg
On 11th January 2009 regional public transport companies took over the responsibility for Öresundståg traffic in the south of Sweden. It will be easier and more comfortable since you can travel on a card or a ticket in a larger system than before, at a fixed price.
The duration of time to travel between Göteborg (Gothenburg) in Sweden and Copenhagen in Denmark will be approx 4 hrs. All travel in the new traffic system will have fixed prices. That means you do not have to think about ordering 90 days before departure to get the best price or wait until the last minute with a risk not to get on the train in time just to get a good price.
