1-8 Oct Lund, Choral Festival
A weeklong festival featuring more than 30 choirs and vocal ensembles from all over the world. These include the Malmö Opera, Stefano Secco, the Real Group, Vocal Six, Amy Diamond, Damn and church concerts.

1 Oct Helsingborg, Mikaeli Market
Welcome to this year’s big harvest party at Fredriksdal! The produce from fruit orchards and kitchen gardens will have been newly harvested, and late-summer fruit and vegetables will be on sale. The cobbled streets of the town area will be filled with many pleasant market stalls, the aroma of food and spices, a wonderful atmosphere with music and dancing, and one or two surprises. The event will include cookery demonstrations and advice on fruit, food and harvest.

Nils Holgersson exhibition
This year is the 100th anniversary for the book “The Wonderful Adventures of Nils”, by Swedish Nobel Prize winner Selma Lagerlöf. The wonderful journey of Nils started in our province Skåne.The anniversary is celebrated at Charlotte Weibulls Folklivscenter with many activities through the year.

Divine Shards – Cult into Art
“Gudomliga skärvor” (Divine Shards).
An exhibition of archaeological finds. The richest find in Northern Europe of sacrificed ceramics from the Stone Age. The shards meet works by 11 contemporary potters. The Monastery in Ystad.

2-5 November Christmas fair at Wrams Gunnarstorp Manor
Christmas fair at Wrams Gunnarstorp castle. 80 skilful craftsmen such as basket makers, smiths, weavers, potters, woodworkers among many others. Homemade delicatessen.

3 Nov, Lund, International three-day Diving competition 25th Diving Lund
We are very happy that we now have got confirmed that Anna Lindberg, double European Champion 2006 on 1 meter and 3 meter springboard, will participate in this years Diving Lund.

3-5 Nov, Kivik, Österlen sparkles on All Saints Weekend! Brightly lit gardens – rock carvings by night – masks in the dark – sound and light installation in Vitaby Cemetery – fire performance beside the Royal grave and much more. A weekend devoted to light, with many bright spots and events. Individuals, businesses, and artists will help to light up Österlen and the surrounding area.

10-16 Nov, Milo, Glenn Wish & the New Memphis Orchestra comes to Malmo for the second time with their fantastic Elvis show, a real tribute to the King. Most of the show is in Swedish, but many songs in English.

11-12 November, Lund, Flyinge Day Horseshow.
Thrilling, spectacular displays, stunning stallions, delightful foals and all the horses you could wish to see! You will have the chance to visit the equine school and various buildings including the carriage museum, the stables and the blacksmith’s workshop. Displays and exhibitors.

22-26 November, Hässleholm, A quality Christmas fair with a wide selection of food and handicrafts.

24-26 November, Helsingborg, Christmas at Sofiero Palace and Gardens. Christmas blooms and candlelight break up the darkness. Spectacular light show and a culinary cheese fair with the best of the season’s delicacies. Flowers, wreaths, candles, table settings and decorations for Christmas inspiration. 8-10 Dec, Brösarp, Christmas market at Christinehofs Manor House, Tomelilla. A Christmas market with an emphasis on all things traditional. Exhibition and sale of original work from over 70 artists and craftsmen. All the delicacies of the Christmas table will be shown off to great advantage in our special food shop. A Christmas market to be inspired by, in the beautiful surroundings of a country manor.

8-10 Dec Höör Christmas market at Fogdaröd with 100 exhibitors from all over Southern Sweden. Food, handicrafts, art exhibition. Christmas buffet.
