Learning from the Past and Architecturing the Future
The 10th International QMOD (Quality Management and Organisational Development) in 2007 will be jointly organised by Lunds University, Campus Helsingborg and Linköpings University supported by Hesingborg city. 200 speakers from all over the world will attend to the conference at Campus Helsingborg, Lunds University in June 18-20. Dr. Sumi Park was the initiator to QMOD ten years in China. Now Helsingborg is proudly hosting this important meeting thanks to here work at the Campus in Helsingborg. The first European Conference on Affective Design and Kansei (Emotion) Engineering will be incorporated. The conference will take place . The main theme for the 10th QMOD will be Our Dreams of Excellence – Learning from the Past and Architecturing the Future.
Several optional workshops will be organised. Workshop 1 will give a practical overview of six sigma. Why it is important especially in health care, how it is developing worldwide, pros and cons in the public opinion, what to look out for in the health care application, case studies, practical examples, accreditation issues, plan of action, continuing professional development
Workshop 2 (Integrated Management for Sustainability) will be organised by Baltech Research Initiative Group. Based on experiences of how different management systems are used today and the notion that the potential of management systems is not fully utilized, research is needed to learn more about how integrated management systems can become more efficient and significantly contribute to total sustainability.
