Ingemar Bergman Center On Fårö Island
This bus tour is a unique way to experience island Fårö from its east to west coast, and to discover those places not easily found on your own. Two knowledgeable guides will pilot you through the landscape of Fårö and the world of film. An eventful tour for film enthusiasts and nature lovers alike! Grilled lamb burgers will be served by the spectacular raukar(limestone stacks).
The Big Bergman Safari
A half-day’s excursion which visits several locations from the films: Persona, Through a Glass Darkly and Scenes from a Marriage. Anecdotes and stories from the film set and from Bergman’s life on Fårö are supplemented with clips from the places concerned. You will have a chance to act on location in a Bergman film when a scene from Shame is reconstructed.

Starting point: the Bergman center on Fårö. The Mini Bergman Safari
A shore bus tour. We travel through the landscape of the Fårö documentaries, visit selected locations, stop at Ingmar’s own cinema at Dämba and see clips of the places concerned. We then relax with a picnic basket beside the mighty ”raukar” of Langhammar a classic Fårö setting. A guide accompanies you on tour to give an insight into the world of Bergman’s films and life on Fårö.

The Fårö trip begins or ends at the Bergman Center where film clips from the places visited are viewed. Coffee or a picnic basket can be ordered.
