Royal Interior Design By IKEA
IKEA invite you to an unusual design experience called TOGETHER located beside the Royal Palace in Stockholm. In their own version of Haga Palace, IKEA have decorated the interior with a good mix of interior design skills and humour. IKEA is also host to the Swedish Design exhibition where Swedish designers of the future – students from Swedish design colleges –have each created a work in response to the question ‘How can design influence relationships?’
A part of IKEA’s exhibition is a smaller version of Haga Slott, decorated IKEA style. Inside the 14 rooms over two levels (with disabled lift) IKEA has stretched the limits of the possibilities within the term ’royal interior design’ and relationship-building details. The exhibition is held as a tribute to the Crown Princess Couple and as an inspiration to us all to be more daring when we decorate.
