Friendly pearl of golf – S:t Arild
”S:t Arild Golf Club has for a long time been called ”The hidden Gem”, but it is no longer hidden.
The magazines “Golf Digest” and “Swedish Golf Gems” has mentioned S:t Arild GC on numerous occasions and the course was elected Top 15 in Sweden by Golf Digest in November 2005.
The course is laid out in an old cultural landscape with lot’s of reminisce from the stone ages and just a 30 minutes drive from Helsingborg.
The course architect, Jan Sederholm, has gently laid out the generous fairways between carp filled ponds and beautiful smaller tree groves.
S:t Arild GC is liked by literally everyone.
For the players playing of the club tees it’s both reasonable and fair and for the ones playing of the back tees something of a monster. The greens are always fast and fair and much appreciated by able putters.
The golf restaurant is widely known as one of the best in Sweden, or as they put it in the magazine “Swedish Golf Gems”, “the restaurant alone makes the visit worth while”.
