Day Trip Rides And Tours For Biker Tourists
The newly established Biker’s Stop Scandinavia concept, will make Scandinavia an attractive and accessible destination for motorcycle tourists. With day-trip rides, selected accommodation and tips on the best places to eat and the sights to see, we set out to offer all bikers, from both Sweden and elsewhere, a unique package tailored to their particular needs.
The Biker’s Stop concept includes:
Accommodation – The basis of the concept. Places to stay specially selected with the motorcycle tourist in mind, offering all the facilities and information that bikers demand. Proprietors and staff have good knowledge about the local sights and attractions suitable for motorcyclists, and all types of events that may be of interest.
Day-trip rides and Routes – on specially selected roads and comfortably manageable in a day. These itineraries include longer or shorter versions, routes on dirt roads or narrow lines, extra-curvy routes, and so on. Day-trip circuits are often designed to keep to the area around the accommodation, so as to encourage riders to stay on a little longer. Routes are planned to take them to the next accommodation. There are even thematic routes, such as “the castle circuit” or “the Öresund route.”
Food and drink – Knowing where to get good food and drink is important for motorcyclists. Bikers stop more often than motorists, and are always on the lookout for good food in the right surroundings. That’s they are forging contacts with people in the café and eating-house business who can offer “great nosh and plenty of it”. Like the accommodation and the sights worth seeing, eating places will be placed on the recommended itineraries, and there will even be thematic routes with an emphasis on food.
