Culinary Foretaste of Summer Adventures in Bastad
In Båstad, Torekov and all over the Bjäre Peninsula the chefs and restaurants arrange a culinary week as an affordable and exciting foretaste of the summer. During ten days 6th -15th June there will be served a selection of local specialities in fourteen restaurants with fixed 2-course menus and prices SEK 169 per person. Be sure you will meet the locals dining out this week. Here you can download a list of participating restaurants. I could not find an information in English but at least you will have their addresses.
On June 7 there will be a potato event “Pärans Dag” in Båstad. This is the most important district in Sweden with unique conditions to cultivate potatoes. Today the farmers also offer special potato safaris and adventures out in the fields together with tasting different products from potatoes, like vodka.
