Christmas fair at the Katrinetorp farm
Experience a genuine traditional Christmas market. Exhibitors will be displaying handicraft, food and antiquities, and a brass band and choir will provide live entertainment.
Food, glögg (mulled and spiced wine) and much more is offered. Merchant Erland Bager built this country manor on the outskirts of Malmö in 1813. The home was a “country manor”, a manor house where agriculture was also pursued.

Lucia – Queen of Light

On Wednesday December 13 the City of Malmö celebrates the traditional coronation of its very own Lucia. This uniquely Swedish celebration of light – the figure of the saint, dressed all in white with a candle wreath in her hair, has come to symbolise the banishing of darkness and night. Follow Lucia and her maids on a horse-drawn procession from the St Johannes Church through the city streets to the Stortorget, where they will be performing from the balcony of the Residense (the Governor’s Palace)
