Choral festival in Lund
Between 1-8 october the city of Lund will be host for Lund International Choral Festival. Eric Ericson International Master Class on choral and orchestral conducting will be held 1-8 October 2006, in collaboration with Lund University and the Malmö Academy of Music and Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra. Lund is a medieval city with winding alleys, small houses and an ancient cathedral that towers up in the centre.
With a historic university, the largest unit for research and higher education in Sweden and a growing multitude of innovative companies, the city is characterized by a unique mix of tradition and new-thinking. Lund University also contains the Malmö Academy of Music. Copenhagen and Copenhagen Airport is close by; the travel time is less than an hour.
