Skansen, Åre / Skistar, Säfsen Resort, Häckeberga Castle, the Vasa Museum, the Millennium Tour, and Wilderness in Värmland is the best experiences in Sweden if you ask French, German, English, Dutch, Italian, Russian and American tour operators. This election from tour operators shows what is hot in Sweden for many travellers. The final selection of “The best experience in Sweden” will be awarded during the Swedish Travel and Tourism Gala October 22.
Last year’s winner was the Ice Hotel. The goal is to find out what foreign visitors want to book through tour operators and to forward the information to the agents around the world.
Nominations reflects the demand for experiences related to the winter, wilderness and nature. What we Swedes take for granted, turns out to be exotic experience for our foreign visitors.
