Båstad Adventure
In this greyish month (at least here in south Sweden) I have to share some vacation tips with you. More and more people that contact me wants to experience something thrilling, fun but safe. We have some really skilled sports guides in the area and the advantage of an exciting nature to challenge your power. The Adventure Company Stora Bla is operating all over Skane and Copenhagen but have their head office in Bastad.
The peninsula of Bjare has a wide variety of landscapes with rolling valleys and impressive cliffs reaching far into the sea by Hovs Hallar. Spring begins early in this part of the world, and this is when Bjäre turns into an Eldorado for hikers, ardent golfers and cycling fans. Warm evenings and pleasant water temperatures can be enjoyed until the end of August. So this is what you could expect when you take your family and friends to Sweden for a fun vacation! An exclusive RIB charter
RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) is a specially constructed rubber boat, made to operate under extreme conditions at sea. These types of boats are frequently used to ship people out to oilrigs, and as rescue boats for the Swedish marine, and Swedish sea rescue society. Use it for day trips, and unique experiences at sea.
This trip could e.g. include Torekov, The Island of Hallands Väderö with the Seals and Kullaberg. Stretch the tour to include guiding in one of the mos tfrequented channels in the world: Öresund. Enormous cargo ships are jostling with everything from sail boats to ferries. We can include and a stop for lunch at
Gilleleje, a small fishing village in Denmark, before returning to Båstad
Sailing / Fleet racing
Everybody is able to participate in the race regardless of age, sex or previous experience in sailing. Fleet racing means that there are several identical sailing boats racing a previously defined track. Close duels and tactic. We sail with modern J/80 boats. They are 8 meters long and can be sailed by a crew of 4-5 persons and one instructor. The instructor will guide you through the different parts of sailing. You will also be equipped with all necessary gear for your journey.
Rock Climbing & Rappelling
Of course we tailor this activity after every individual. The safety is always on top. It is our job to make sure our client has a good day without having to think about anything. Our cliff is ten meters high and perfect for beginners!
Rappelling is the practice of sliding down a rope in a controlled manner. There are several ways to rappel; the safest and most common way is with the use of a harness, locking carabineer and a belay device.
Personal Watercraft
This is a 110% adrenaline rush, a wonderful hovering feeling, where gravity seems to be set aside. The scooters take you fast out to the sea and it is a wonderful experience to drive on the surface on water. The scooters are made by Seadoo that have over 67% of the world market. Each scooter can take 2 persons.
Quad Bikes
You never know what challenges lie ahead! You will encounter mud, jumps and climbs as you get the chance to explore the awesome terrain that this great site has to offer. Basic skills in safety are quickly and easily acquired, and from then on it is up to you to put these machine to the tasks for which they were designed.
Kite surfing
Kite surfing, also known as kite boarding, involves using a power kite to pull a rider through the water on a small surfboard or a kite board The sport is still in its infancy, but is rapidly growing in popularity. The kite surfing school provides courses and lessons to teach various skills including kite launching, flying, landing, usage of the bar, lines and safety devices.
Windsurfing
It is now easier to learn and pick up than ever. If Windsurfing is something that you’ve always fancied then our intro could be the perfect taster for you. The progress you make will really surprise you and it is very realistic to expect that you will be sailing across the sea by the end of the activity.
High Jump on the giant trampolines
Four trampolines 11m in diameter each equipped with rubber bands suspended on a 9 meter high rack that make sure you always land at the right spot. Just jump and volute as you dare!
