Design Festival In Småland September 2012
At the end of September 2012, Glasriket (The Kingdom of Crystal) welcomes you to their design festival. For a few days, the entire region will focus all efforts on design covering a range of different areas – glass, paper products, all sorts of wedding presents, floors, bathroom fittings, lighting, garden and food design, glass urns and designer chests, hotel to name but a few.
“Design and handicraft have historically played a significant role in the success of Glasriket,” says Stine Breum-Appelqvist, press officer at AB Glasriket.
During the design festival, the companies in Glasriket – an area in the Kronoberg and Kalmar regions in Småland, south Sweden – will open their doors and invite visitors to displays and open houses. There will also be exhibitions, lectures, workshops and a whole range of unique experiences all in the name of design.
