With a distance of only 350 km from Stockholm (and from Oslo in Norway) it is also easy accessible for shorter stay. To the Mora Airport there are direct flights from Skåne, Copenhagen and Stockholm. Description
Day 1
We welcome you and your colleagues/friends when you arrive to Mora Airport.
A local host from will be available under your whole stay.
On the way to Sälen (here is a link to Google Map) we stop to take some photos at the famous Vasaloppet. In Sälen you will stay at hotel Gammelgården. The hotel is surrounded by the glory from the mountains, 24 cosy rooms in different sizes with WC/Showers divided in 2 buildings. You could either stay in the Ralph Lauren designed rooms or the rooms with influences from Carl Larsson, the well known artist from Dalarna. After settling in at the hotel the kitchen will serve delicious game dishes as well as fish and poultry.
Day 2
After breakfast you will be picked up for a thrilling snowmobile ride, taking you out into the wild to explore the amazing view over the mountains. The tour includes a stop at a unique local restaurant up on the mountain without water and electricity.
After a whole day at the mountain we return to the hotel and jump in the “arctic spa”.
The evening dinner will be served in a small cabin not far from the hotel. Here you will make your one food at a “Brassero grill” with delicious accessory. For dessert you will have the famous Swedish cloud berries with ice- cream. If you want to enjoy some music after the dinner you go to the piano bar near by at Sälens Högfjällshotell.
Day 3
Today you will experience an exciting dogsled ride with your own dogs and sledge! You will have a lesson on how to operate the sledge, and then get to explore the nature and wilderness, together with our experienced guides. You’ll stop for a delicious lunch around a fire before you turn back.
Day 4 Departure.
After 2 days in the fresh air we take you back to the airport of Mora and you head back home.

Sälen is a village in Sweden near the Norwegian border of Malung-Sälen Municipality in Dalarna in western Sweden. The population is around 500. In the winter tens of thousands of tourists enter the area. Sälen is noted for hosting the start of Vasaloppet, the oldest (since 1922), longest (90 km), and largest cross country ski race in the world (over 15 000 participants in the main race only). It is also known for its many alpine ski resorts. Today Sälen has seven ski resorts. The oldest resort in Sälen is Högfjällshotellet which was built in 1937 and still is a good place for recreation, cross country skiing and downhill skiing. Newer resorts with steeper mountains are Hundfjället and Granfjället. Other resorts are Stöten, Lindvallen, Näsfjället, Tandådalen and Kläppen. (source Wikipedia).
