Knutstorp Castle

A conference at Knutstorp Castle is spiced with dramatic history, astronomical destinies, and adventure. Knutstorp, located near Helsingborg, Sweden, is the birthplace of renowned astronomer Tycho Brahe.

Plan a conference in this castle setting where your meeting can be inspired by the dramatic history of bygone eras. Learn about Tycho Brahe, born in 1546, and how he lost his nose. Hear about the Battle of Knutstorp in 1678. Discover manor life of the 1700’s.

Records indicate that the location was used for farming as early as the mid- 1300’s. Towards the end of the Middle Ages it was acquired by the powerful and influential family Brahe. In 1551 Otte Brahe dammed nearby waters, forming a lake, and then built a fortified castle on an island in the lake.

With facilities for small groups of between five and fifteen participants, conference arrangements include activities, conference facilities, lunch, afternoon coffee, fruit and drinks. Activities such as “A Tour in Tycho Brahe’s Footsteps”, a nature tour, or an excursion in nearby Söderåsen National Park can be arranged.

Knutstorp Castle is a private home, and is not open to the public. The owners will be host and hostess for your group. Start with a guided tour in the garden, finish with a gourmet experience in the evening.

Tomarp Royal Estate (Tomarps Kungsgård)

Tomarp Royal Estate, located near Kvidinge, Sweden, is a wonderful destination for conferences, kick- offs, and meetings. The peace and tranquillity of the surrounding countryside, combined with the grandeur of these medieval estate buildings, allows guests to relax, enjoy, and renew.

Visitors receive a unique and personal welcome when meeting at the castle. Tomarp Royal Estate is one of Sweden’s foremost art galleries, with exhibits displayed throughout the main building. Enjoy Skåne’s Hussar Library. Feast on delicious home-made desserts in the small cobbled courtyard. Walk the grounds, sharing your space with peacocks, stork, guinea fowl, and ducks. Take a stroll through Tomarps Ena, an idyllic spot in Ronneå’s valley.

A variety of activities are recommended, such as canoeing, fishing, horseback riding in nearby Söderåsen National Park, bocce under evening lights or bird watching. Torup Castle

For many years Torup Castle has been a “living” home, surrounded with Scandinavian history, drama, and legends. This castle, tucked in the greenery of a beech forest, dates from the 1500’s. In the dining room pastoral scenes, painted on leather, adorn the walls. The library contains an extensive collection of books, as well as a noted porcelain collection.

A meeting a Torup Castle is ideal for smaller groups, who desire relaxing surroundings, and a personal touch. A rustic lunch, prepared with local products, can be eaten in the nearby Museum. Perhaps a tour through the castle with Mrs. Gjörvel, a character from the 1500’s, would add to your event. Music of the period could help set the stage.

Champagne and refreshments are to be enjoyed in the dining hall, where guests can gaze upon the royal riding portraits of Carl X and Carl XI.

Conference arrangements include a customized program, lunch with a period character, a tour of the castle, a play or musical entertainment, and champagne with refreshments.

Wanås Castle
The reflection of the enormous white castle  Wanås in the pond, surrounded by the English park filled with monumental sculptures and art, creates a dreamlike experience.

Although the castle is a private residence, the English park is open year- round for the public. Art exhibits are found in the stables and in the old grain storage building, as well as throughout the park. Today the estate is a modern large- scale agricultural farm, with concentration on ecological farming.

Wild geese soar over the mist covered hills, creating a fairy- tale setting. Deer and wild pigs can be heard in the forests. Located in Christinehofs Ecopark, the surroundings are exquisite.

Meetings for up to 100 participants can be arranged at this magical location, where nature offers peace and inspiration. Outdoor activities such as fishing, clay- pigeon target shooting or wild pig and deer safaris are available. A guided tour of the castle staterooms provides a relaxing break during a day of meetings. Nearby is the old alum factory. Climb aboard a horse- drawn wagon for a trip to the factory, where you will receive a guided tour.

Hovdala Castle

Hovdala Castle, magnificent in its simplicity, is an attractive conference locale. Built near the shores of Lake Finja, south of Hässleholm, Sweden, the castle’s imposing tower defines the strength and perseverance of the Danes and Swedes who lived here.

A visit to Hovdala Castle is a walking tour through history.  Long walks can be taken through the extensive castle grounds, amid gnarled apple trees and fragrant gardens. The lovely Orangery exhibits art throughout the summer.

Music, theater, art and literature are a natural part of the castle’s cultural surroundings and can be included in the program. A guided tour through the Ehrenborg home gives insight into earlier lifestyles. Other activities could include a night stroll in the Library ruins, stories of times past, fishing in Lake Finja or golf. Nearby you will find a unique settings for meetings in the tree tops with a amazing view ofer the lake.

Katrinetorp Manor

This beautiful estate, dating from the 1800’s, provides a fantastic atmosphere and the kitchen offers a culinary trip through southern Sweden. Meals, based on the region’s seasonal products, are exquisite examples of Skåne’s food tradition.

The estate, with both French-inspired gardens and a romantic English Park, is a very popular countryside meeting venue near Copenhagen. Many of the buildings and gardens have undergone restoration, in an effort to create the original atmosphere of earlier times.

Concerts, seasonal markets, and exhibits are promoted throughout the year.  A festive dinner under a glittering chandelier is a lovely way to end an event.

Snogeholm Castle

In the late summer of 1899 Kaiser Wilhelm II spent some time at the castle. He had his advisor with him who kept in touch with world events by telegraphy – the e-mail of the time. During three days of hunting, Kaiser Wilhelm succeeded in bagging 28 roebucks and a fox. His stateroom has been preserved intact at the castle.Snogeholm castle was built in the latter part of the 1860’s in the French baroque style. To retain its pristine atmosphere, the castle has been carefully refurbished and preserved the fairy tale image.

Here in this castle by the lake you can relax with a rod and line from the landing stage or with your golf clubs around the castle. For the more adventurous, there is the opportunity to attend a hunting course, go on lengthy fishing expeditions, riding or hiking in the surrounding woodlands of outstanding natural beauty.

Landskrona Castle-the Citadel is one of the most well-preserved fortresses of the 16:th century located by the sea front with a view towards the island Ven and Denmark.
