Here are some tours for you with interested in design & art. The packages are suitable shore excursions for groups and cruise passangers. For individuals sharing a rental car(fly & drive) we will be glad to make adjustments and provide iteneraries.
1. Try glassblowing as a teambuilding activity! Divided into teams you will first get instructions by Laura Madsen, the Glass master, before you get started. Feel the heat from the furnace and see how the living material of glass is transformed by you and your team into a glass, a vase or whatever you have decided to create. Your finished glass pieces will stay overnight in a cooling oven before you get it. End your day with a superb meal at Tisvildeleje Strandhotel. Maximum 16 people. Available approx April-December.

2.Meet the famous design of Märta Måås-Fjetterström at her weaving workshop. Her textiles can be found at Louvren as well as in private homes all over the world. Guided tour through her workshop where each rug is handmade. Continue to Eldoluft Glass Studio run by glass artist Richard Rackham, who uses his own innovative techniques alongside traditional Swedish glassblowing methods. At Vävaren i Båstad you will experience pure linen woven in traditional design as well as their own. Taste the Swedish speciality “Sill & Nubbe” before lunch at Solsidan Restaurant. After lunch it is time for a stop in the ceramic region where the ceramist will guide you in his workshop at Kullabygdens Keramik.

3.Visit the Rudolph Tegner Museum on the barren heath of North Zealand. The Danish sculptor Rudolph Tegner (1873-1950) strived for dramatic movement in his monumental style and his colossal sculptures will not leave you untouched. In Humlebæk you will enjoy lunch at a typical Danish Inn before you visit the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Founded in the 1950’s this museum of art, architecture and landscape is an art in itself. Your guided tour takes you through the permanent or current exhibition.

4. Visit Höganäs Saltglaserat where you will be introduced to the ceramic making process and the special stoneware production. This tour takes you to Kullaberg peninsula and Höganäs, the capital of the ceramic region. A scenic tour of the peninsula is included before you make a stop at the Flickorna Lundgren café where the late King often visited enjoying their speciality – the vanilla hearts! Continue to Kullabygdens Keramik where the potteries in traditional style is a fine contrast to the stoneware earlier. Also make a stop at BodaNova-Höganäs Keramik factory outlet where you will find Höganäs ceramic and a wide range of glassware.
